BRIAN JOHNS

Brian James Johns, 29, of Wilkes-Barre, died on Saturday, March 6 unexpectedly at his home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Jacqueline Johns and Brian K. and Anglia Rowles, of Nanticoke . He attended LCCC, where he earned his Associate Degree in Counseling. He used his degree to do the one thing he loved, helping the homeless, working for Volunteers of America and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He spent his spare time watching his favorite team, Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Regina Rowles, James Seiwell, Joseph and Kaitlin Saleski.

In addition to his father and stepmother, siblings Jesse, Brianna, Madison, Jackie, Bronson and Jager Rowles; Gerald, Katie and Cody Smith and Matthew Olson. He is also survived by daughter Savanna and her mother, Erica Finkbiner; his companion, Kara and her son, David; grandmother, Jeanie Johns and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Blessing service will be conducted on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 6 pm at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc., 689 Hazle Ave., Wilkes-Barre.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation from 4 to 6 PM, at the funeral home.
