Brian Gavinski, 59, of Lebanon, entered eternal rest, Sunday morning, March 6, 2022. After a courageous battle under the care of Hospice, Brian passed away peacefully at home with music in his ears and his hand held tight.
Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Victor and Mary Ellen Gavinski. In addition to his parents, Brian was preceded in death by his brothers, Mark and Richard; sister Kathy Searfoss, and niece Lisa Gavinski.
Brian is survived by his children, Brian Jr. and wife Kristy; Jason and wife Amanda; Nicole Gorski and husband Jon; and several grandchildren. Ex-Wife, Gina Vansickle; Brother Victor and wife Roxanne; sister Patrice Smith and husband Bert; many nieces and nephews; fiance Kathy Bishop and stepchildren John and Christine as well as several step grandchildren.
Brian loved the outdoors, whether it was on the ski slopes, hunting in the woods, working construction or just walking his dog Rusty. Brian was a kind soul, who more than anything loved his children and grandchildren; nothing made his face light up more than a belly laugh from a child.
Brian loved, and was deeply loved by Kathy Bishop, who faithfully stayed by his side and whose love guided him to peaceful rest. It is their request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to an animal rescue of your choice.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, White Have.
Arrangements under the direction of the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. White Haven.
