Bonnie Lynn Weed, 75, of Buck Township passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 21, 2023.
The 1965 graduate of James M. Coughlin High School was born to the late Theodore and Heather B. Goobic on January 26, 1948.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles C. Weed of Trucksville.
Surviving are her sister and best friend June Jones, Harvey’s Lake, her son Robert Weed and daughter Brenda Shaffer, both of Buck Township and 7 grandchildren.
After graduation Bonnie obtained her beautician license from Empire Beauty School and then began residential cleaning. Bonnie was a strong Christian woman enjoying time spent with the Woman of Faith group, attending Messiah P.M. Church and most recently Beaumont Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, watching reruns of the good old shows, shopping with June and most of all spending time with her family. Aunt Bonnie will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly. She had a warm heart, witty personality and an eye for fashion, especially dresses. To have known Bonnie was truly a privilege.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 2pm at the Beaumont Free Methodist Community Church in Buck Township, 380 Buck Blvd White Haven PA with Pastor Joe Gandia. Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm until time of service.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7
