Albert David Cherkauskas

Albert D. Cherkauskas, 70, of Ashley, died on Sunday, July 17, 2022, in Highland Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing, Exeter.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late John and Louise Thomas Cherkauskas and served his country proudly in the United States Marines. Al worked as a Forklift Operator for Briden America prior to retirement and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by siblings, Charles, John and infant brother David.

Al is survived by his wife, Eileen Sweeney Cherkausakas, step daughter, Yvonne Orengo of Ashely, three brothers and sisters.

Memorial service will be conducted on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 6:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre with Military Honors. Friends are invited to join the family from 4:00 pm until time of service.
