ALLEN J. DRAINA

Allen J. "Chip" Draina, passed away unexpectedly on August 29, 2023 at the age of 67.

Al was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Albert and Ruth (Tomczak) Draina.  Raised in Ashley, he was a graduate of Hanover Area High School, Class of 1973. Al was also a graduate of LCCC.

During his working years, Al was employed for the Louisiana Police Department as a Deputy.  He was also employed at Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Mid-East Aluminum.  He was an avid member of the Catholic War Veterans where he also tended bar.  He was a member of the former Holy Rosary Church, Hanover Township.

Chip is survived by the love of his life, Donna Lee (Ostrowski) Draina, his sons, Alex and David, grandchildren, Liam, Tyler, Vincent and Sebastian.  He is also survived by his sister, Gail Draina; brother, Greg Draina, several in-laws, cousin, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.  His best buddy was his border collie Jack.

Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 5:00 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with Reverend Richard Cirba officiating.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation form 3:00 pm until time of service.
