ALEXIS D. SHARA

Alexis D. Shara, 62, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

Alexis was born in Wilkes-Barre, the daughter of the late Adam and Emily Slashinski. A proud graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 1981, she spent many years working in local warehouses. However, the role she cherished most in life was being a devoted mother to her loving son, Jonathan.

Alexis enjoyed quiet moments spent reading, watching her favorite TV shows, and exploring her deep love of history. She had a natural gift for caring for others, always offering kindness and compassion to those around her. Her love for animals was boundless, and she found great joy in their companionship.

Alexis will be remembered for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother John Slashinski.

In addition to her son Jonathan, she is survived by her brother, Daniel Slashinski.

Her wishes were to have no public services.
