ALBERT LYONS

Albert W. Lyons, of Berwick, died at home on Monday, April 29, 2019.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Edward Lyons and Elsie Virginia Kitchen Kellar and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was the recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the Army Achievement Medal.

In addition to his parents, Al was preceded by his wife, Barbara; sons, Joseph Lyons, John D. Lyons, David Lyons, daughter, Tina Gyle; siblings, Edward, Robert, Reynold, Charlotte Lyons and two infant siblings

Al is survived by his children, Reynold Lyons of Winchester, VA; Albert Lyons and his wife, Laurie Lee, Wyoming; Barbara Opachinski of Plymouth; James Lyons of Berwick and Kim Glaush and her husband, Shawn, Tunkhannock; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 12:30 pm from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre with interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.

Visitation will be from 11:30 am Thursday, until time of service at the funeral home.
