SUSAN G. EVANS

Susan Gertrude Evans, 83, of Bear Creek Township, PA, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Dallas.

Sue was born on March 15, 1935 in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The daughter of the late George and Henrietta (Kellar) Zimmerman. She attended E L Meyers High School.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, William Evans, an infant son, Brothers George and Jerry Zimmerman, granddaughter Eleana Evans, sister in law Elizabeth Johnson and her husband George, sister in law Margaret Flynn and her husband William; son in law, Michael Kuchta, nephews George Zimmerman and William Flynn and niece Debbora Pascavage.

Susan is survived by son, William and his wife, Joann, Elmira, NY; son, Larry and his wife, Denise, Hunlock Creek; daughter, Sue A. Kuchta, Beckley, WV; son, Stephen Evans, Bear Creek Twp., grandchildren, Susan Kuchta, Bear Creek Twp; William Kuchta and his wife, Christina, Plymouth; Christine Welch and her husband, Matthew, Stephens City, VA; Kathleen Laffoon and her husband, D'Allah, Moravia, NY; William Evans, Elmira, NY; Michael and Sean McCloe, Beckley, WV; Daniel Evans and his wife, Marielle, Livermore, CA; Brittany Evans U.S. Navy Operations Specialist 3rd Class, San Diego, CA; Peter Evans, Jonathan Evans and his girlfriend, Ashley, Elissa Evans and Sarah Evans, all of Hunlock Creek; great grandchildren, Logan and Alivia Kuchta, Plymouth; Dylan and Madolyn Welch, Stephens City, VA; D'Allah Jr., Woodrow Laffoon, Moravia, NY, Eleanor Evans, Livermore, CA and Jenova Evans, Hunlock Creek

Going Home Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at the Beer Deli, 175 Welles St. Forty Fort, PA 18704 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm with a Going Home Service from 3:00 pm to 3:20 pm.  Friends and Family are welcome.
