Stephen Joseph Glushefski, 58, of Glen Lyon, PA died Thursday after a long illness.
Born in Wilkes-Barre PA April 17, 1961, he was the Dearest son of Joseph and Lillian Namowicz Glushefski. Stephen attended Greater Nanticoke area school district and received a certification in Auto Body from Wilkes-Barre Vo Tech. He was honorably discharged from the National Guard, Plymouth Armory for 9 years. He loved working on cars and was best known for his painting abilities. He worked for years at Morreale Mid City Auto Body and Bear Ford.
Steve loved fishing and camping with his family. He also loved spending vacations at Ocean City, MD. He was an avid Eagles fan.
He is survived by his wife Eunice and daughter Crystal Lee. Sister Sandra Glushefski LeBlanc and her husband Kevin LeBlanc of Danville. Brother Joseph and his wife Betty Glushefski and also brother Lawrence Glushefski of Nanticoke. He has four grandchildren Brandon Lee Lewis, Kaylee Lewis, James Lewis and Arionna Glushefski Exeter PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Glushefski family wishes to thank all the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart who took care of him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and preceded by his only beloved son Stephen Jr.
Blessing service will be conducted on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 12:00 noon at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with visitation from 11:00 am until time of service.
