ROSA MARIA VOLLARO

Rosa Maria Vollaro, of Hanover Township, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at home, with family by her side.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Ortiz and Juana Rivera and was very devoted to her faith.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, James Vollaro; brother, Hector Ortiz and sister Gladys Cintron.

Rosa is survived by daughters, Sharon Vollaro; Marianne Vollaro and Jennifer Vollaro, all of Hanover Township; son, Joseph Heney, Bronx, NY; 10 grandchildren, Kiana, Jamir, Emily Rose, Andrew, Camryn, Skylar, Eemaya, Ameer, Amia and India; siblings, Junior, Lucy, Olga, Leticia, Miriam and Haydee.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at 9:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Leo/Holy Rosary Church, 33 Manhattan Street, Ashley at 9:30 am.  Reverend Vincent Dang will officiate. 

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 4 to 6 pm and on Thursday from 8:30 am until time of service.
