ROBERT E. WALIZER

Robert E. Walizer, of Pittston, formerly of Surfside Beach, SC, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at home.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Brady and Mildred Titus Walizer and was a graduate of Ashley High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and worked in the construction industry for HPG, Mountain Top, prior to retiring.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn I. “Karen” Branigan Walizer and brother, Donald Walizer. 

He is survived by sons, Robert Walizer, Wilkes-Barre; Kevin Walizer, Plains; daughter, Sharon Travis and her husband, Thomas, Lawrenceville, GA; three grandchildren, Erin, Alexa and Logan; three great grandchildren, Christian, Dylan and Gavin.

Graveside Funeral service and burial will be private in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
