Riley Jo Ferrera, 2, of Hanover Township, died Monday, December 10, 2018, in Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre, as the result of a tragic two alarm fire, at her home.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of Michael S. Ferrera Jr., and the late Julia Oschal Crossley, who was also a victim of the Monday morning fire. Riley was a very happy little girl, who loved to play. Her big brown eyes and contagious smile would brighten anyone's day. Her laugh was infectious and she will always be her Daddy's Little Angel.
In addition to her mother, she was also preceded by maternal grandmother, Patricia Oschal.
Riley is survived by her father, Michael and his companion, Megan Ellersick; step siblings, Mackenzie, Shavertown; Bayden, Beaumont; Jasper, who is currently in Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Allentown from injuries sustained in the fire. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Winnie Leslie, Parton NC; Michael S. Ferrera Sr., East Boston, MA and maternal grandfather, George Oschal III, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018, from 4 to 6 pm at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre.
