RAYMOND HANDLONG Obituary

Raymond D. Handlong, Jr. of White Haven, died Friday, January 3, 2020, in The Gardens at East Mountain, Plains Township.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Raymond and Hattie Washkun Handlong and worked for the Internal Revenue Service for most of his life. His passions included restoring odd cars, listening to classical and jazz music, reading literature, and writing. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Japan, where he gained a love for Japanese culture and gyoza. His family and friends will always remember him as a pretty weird dude.

Ray is survived by his sons, Stefan of Chandler, AZ; David of Portland, OR; four grandchildren and his brother, Donald of White Haven.
