JOHN VITI

John Viti, 48, of Luzerne, formerly of Sugar Notch, died Friday, July 6, 2018 with family by his side, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of Alfonzo Viti of Ashley and the late Rita Yurkin George.  John was a graduate of West Side Vocational Technical School and was employed as a Landscaper. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan and enjoyed fishing, camping, the outdoors and listening to classic Rock.  

He was preceded in death, in addition to his mother, by his brother, William Luton.

John is survived, in addition to his father, by fiancée, Jill Stiefel, Luzerne; daughter, Briana Viti, Ulster, PA; son, Johnnie Viti, Ashley; two grandsons, Kaden John Viti and David Allen Hall; siblings, Gloria McDowell, Pittston; Ronald Luton, Kingston, Joann Schneider, Kentucky; Wayne Luton, Wilkes-Barre; Michelle Harris, Harveys Lake; nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018, which would have been his 49th birthday, at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre.

Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
