Jacqueline (Jackie) Richardson, beloved Mother and Nana passed away, Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Mountain City, Hazleton, where she had been in Hospice care.
Born, November 1, 1933, she was the daughter of Esther and John McCloskey, White Haven. She graduated from White Haven High School, Class of 1954. She met her future husband, Donald (Don) Richardson at Split Rock Lodge where they were both employed. Jackie and Don celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on April 16, 2005.
She was a member of the White Haven United Methodist Church.
Jackie will always be remembered for her kind spirit and generous nature. Her family and friends were blessed by her patience, love, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her eight year battle with Alzheimer's did not rob her family and friends and neighbors of treasured memories.
​Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Don, in 2010, and her sister, Gloria Hudock in 2004.
Surviving are her daughter, Robin and her husband, David Novitsky, Weatherly, her granddaughter, Laura Novitsky and her fiancé, Kevin DeWeese, Pittsburgh and Grandson, Ryan Novitsky, Factoryville. Her son Randal (Randy) Richardson and his wife, Mary Frances and grandchildren, Ian and Cally Richardson, Penn Lake. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven. Interment will follow in Laurel Cemetery, White Haven.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
