HENRY ACKERMAN

Henry J. Ackerman, of White Haven, passed away, December 19, 2019, in Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore.

He was employed as an excavator and enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and gardening.

Preceding him in death was his parents,Charles and Theresa Koch Ackerman; sister, Helen Parry; brothers, Charles Ackerman and step brother, William Bruzgulis.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Gloria Remak Ackerman; stepchildren, Donna Hinton and her husband, Andrew; Linda Wentzel and her husband, Mark; Lisa Fisher; all of Freeland; George Fisher and his fiancee Amanda Delano; David Fisher and his wife, Jayne of Drums; Thomas Fisher and his wife Betty Jane of Weatherly; 9 step grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Sunday, December 22, 2019, from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven.

Friends are invited to join the family for a visitation fro 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home.
