Harry W. Western, 66, of Lake Agmar, White Haven, died Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Medical Center, Hazleton.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy Ryan Western and attended Dickinson High School and Jersey City State College. Harry was a musician, played in a band in his younger years and was the organist at St. Patricks Church, White Haven, where he was an active member. Harry attended AA meetings and was very proud to have been sober for many years. He loved classic rock music, the outdoors and spending time with his loving family.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his former wife, Barbara..
He is survived by his devoted wife, Anna; step children, Erin Connelly, Colorado; Thomas Martin and his wife, Dana, Long Island, NY; grandchildren, Thomas and Olivia; brothers, John F. Western, Colorado; Thomas J. Western, Emerson, NJ, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 11:00 am in St. Patrick's Church, 411 Allegheny St., White Haven. Family and Friends are asked to go directly to the church Tuesday morning. Interment will follow in parish cemetery.
Visitation will be on Monday, February 5, 2018, from 4 to 7 pm at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven, and on Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Church, from 10 to 11 am.
