GAYLE STEMPEL

Gayle Stempel, of White Haven, died Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Born in Jim Thorpe, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth Ferh Zeiser and earned a degree in computer science from Luzerne County Community College. Gayle enjoyed speeding time with her children and grandchildren and loved to read. She worked at Mt. Laurel Resort, as a waitress, prior to retiring and was a member of St. Patrick's Church.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by husband, Eugene Stempel; daughter, Gwen Stempel, grandson, AJ Baddick, and sister Judy Zeiser.

Gayle is survived by her children, William (Maryann) Callen, Jim Thorpe; Ann Adams, Jim Thorpe; Patricia (Henry) Wrzeszewski, Gouldsboro; Terrance Callen Edison NJ  ; Jayne (Bryan) Kowalik, Hazleton; Gene (Brenda) Stempel, White Haven; sister, Patricia Kattner, Jim Thorpe, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Blessing service will be on Friday, November 23, 2018, at 9:30 from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven, with Reverend Michael Kloton officiating.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, from 4 to 6 pm and Friday morning from 8:30 am until time of service.
