CHARLES M. LEHMAN

Former East Stroudsburg High School Principal, Charles M. Lehman, 85, of Stroudsburg, died at home, Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Born in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township, he was the son of the late Clinton and Helen Gallagher Lehman and was a graduate of Hanover High School, Kings College, East Stroudsburg University, and earned his Master Degree at Lehigh University. Charles served his country proudly in the United States Army, during the Korean Conflict and was the High School Principal and Teacher at East Stroudsburg Area District. After retirement, for five years, he was personnel manager at Skytop Lodge of Skytop, PA and was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church, Stroudsburg.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine Collins Lehman; Sister Aileen Lehman; brothers, Dr. Clinton Lehman, formerly of Dallas and Donald Lehman of Philadelphia.

He is survived by two children, Michael Lehman of Kansas City, Mo and his daughter, Alexandra of Alexandria, VA and daughter, Colleen Huther and her husband, Frederic of Santa Barbara, CA and their children, Katherine, Isabella and Jonathan Huther.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated onMonday, June 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Aloysius Church, St. Robert Bellarmine Parish, Hanover Twp. With Reverend Kevin Mulhern officiating.

Visitation will be from 10:30 am until time of Mass.

Graveside Funeral Service will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township with Military Honors.

Arrangements by Lehman Family Funeral Service, Wilkes-Barre.

Memorial donations may be made to the poor box of a church of your choosing.
