LEONARD KELLY

Leonard Leo Kelly, 80, of Wilkes-Barre, died Sunday evening, March 18, 2018, in Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Leo and Rose Cunningham Kelly and was a graduate of GAR High School, Class of 1956. Leonard served his country in the United States Army and his community, as a Wilkes-Barre City Firefighter, for 30 years, retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. Andrew's Parish, St. Patrick's Church, Wilkes-Barre.

In addition to his parents, Leonard was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann Campbell Kelly in 1995; sister, Mary Kelly in 1993, brother, Joseph Kelly in 2013 and sister, Winifred Kelly in 2015.

He is survived by his son, Leo Kelly, Wilkes-Barre, one granddaughter Brianna Kelly, friends and cousins.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at 10:00 am from the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 689 Hazle Ave. Wilkes-Barre, with Deacon Behm officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Friends may visit from 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
