CAITLIN SARAH MAUGHAN

Caitlin Sarah Maughan, 28, of Blakeslee, died at home, Saturday, March 3, 2018.

Born in Plains Twp., she was the daughter of Brent Maughan, White Haven and Carol McIntrye Fahnestock, Allentown. Caitlin graduated from Crestwood High School, Class of 2008 and attended The Pennsylvania State University, Hazleton Campus. She was employed at the PA State Wine and Spirits Store, Blakeslee and previously worked at Jack Frost Ski area and White Water Challengers. In her youth, Caitlin enjoyed cheerleading, dancing, hunting and fishing. Most recently she loved cooking, baking, animals and the Philadelphia Eagles Football.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John H. and Margaret McIntrye and paternal grandfather, John Maughan and her dog, Millie who she loved with all her heart.

Caitlin will be missed by her father Brent and his partner, Deborah Perry, White Haven; mother, Carol and her husband, Michael Fahnestock, Allentown; sister, Erin Marie Maughan, Kingston; Stepbrother, Eric Fahnestock, Baltimore; her Aunt Diane Bonfitto, Philadelphia; her Uncles, John McIntyre and his wife Julia; Robert McIntyre and his wife Martha Wilcox; Kevin McIntyre and his wife Kathy; James McIntyre and his wife Bernie: and her cousins Kyla, Glynnis, Brendan, Brigid, Kerry, Matthew, Kelsey, and Patrick; paternal grandmother, Dolly Maughan; fiancee Jamie Irvine and his mother, Jessica Irvine-Oprihory, White Haven.

Funeral service will be conducted on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Lehman Family Funeral Service, Inc. 403 Berwick St. White Haven with Reverend Michael Kloton and Pastor Leslie Bullock, officiating.

Friends may visit on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm and from 9:30 am until time of service on Friday.
